Gabriel Cox is an American singer songwriter from Oregon. Gabe's been rocking the pacific northwest since 2014, and has grown a very loving fanbase over the years. With one of the best live shows in Oregon, the Gabriel Cox Band is a truly genuine experience you have to see to believe. Gabe’s songwriting is music that Oregonians can take pride in. He's written four original albums, that blend elements of rock, blues, & more. In addition to radio play, his music videos are praised all over the world. Gabe's been nominated for awards and has had the privilege to open for national acts, but most notably he's had the honor of performing for those in need. He's an Air Force vet, college grad, loving husband & father, rocking life to the fullest.

I'm originally from San Jose California but I call Springfield Oregon home. I picked up a bass in 1999 and loved it, couldn’t put it down. I originally was in jazz choir and jazz band playing saxophone. I studied under James Phillips(cherry poppin daddies) one day he handed me a bass and said he had a feeling I’d dig it. I did. I love laying down a solid groove and hanging in the pocket. Keeping a solid foundation for the band to build on. I love being on stage and entertaining people. There is nothing better than watching the music you play flow through a crowd. I started back in the day in punk and ska bands, then got into heavier stuff and was fortunate to get signed with a metalcore band (Abandon the Shore) and do some touring. At one point I started playing upright bass and joined the Twangshifters and played rockabilly music all over the Pacific Northwest.
In 2017, I joined Gabe for the first time on stage and haven’t looked back since Influences I love all types of music Victor Wooten, flea were big influences on my playing style. I met Gabe in the basement of a restaurant downtown Salem when he played a solo set and instantly knew I wanted to be part of what he was doing. I’ll never forget, years ago we played a gig at a lama farm, there were bugs eating us alive. Right when he opened his mouth to sing a moth hit the mic and exploded on his face. He just looked at me and mouthed WTF! I still laugh everytime I picture it. I have a long time partner Becky and two kids Michael and Harper. When I’m not on stage I’m in the garage working on hot rods and planning car events.
Hey! I’m Joaquin Rodriguez…aka Otto! I’m from Salem Oregon but I’m originally from Mexico City. I’ve been playing drums for nearly 30 years! I’ve performed with many bands throughout my career, and toured around the world. Some of my biggest musical influences are Guns n Roses, Metallica, and my all time favorite drummer has to be Neil Peart from Rush! I’m a loving husband and father, and I enjoy long walks on the beach with my overweight chihuahua, haha! When I’m not rocking out with Gabe, you can find me driving the magic school bus for Salem/Keizer. If you’ve ever watched The Simpsons, that’s why they call me “Otto”. I love music, it’s my passion, and it’s what I was born to do!
